Description: Scammers are posing as executives working for Interscope Recording Studios in Sante Monica, CA. Be warned. They are knowledgeable about the music industry. They will send you a recording contract specifying very large amount of money if you sign with them.
They will have you send them $400.00 or more to purchase a project management software package from them. They will say it is required before they can fund any money for you. They may ask you to send money to them for airline tickets. No record company is going to ask you for upfront money to record music for them. So, if they ask you to pay anything, you will know they are criminals.
They actually asked me for my bank login id and password so they could start transferring money to my account. I am assuming there are people out there that would actually do that. Did you see the movie "The Beekeeper" with Jason Stadium?
Be CAREFUL.
