How do I get my songs on the digital distribution services?
Point to the box on the front page of Songwriters Portal (songwritersportal.com) that shows "NEW - Digital Services Distribution". The box will flip over and then click "Read More".
You will be taken to the page that explains and gives you the link to click to get started. Each song will cost you $20.00. This is a great deal.
Your songs will be distributed to most of the digital distribution services such as Spotify, Pandora, Amazon, iTunes to name a few.
Up and coming songwriters really need to do this if you plan on getting heard by the masses.
We can help you get your songs ready to submit if you have not taken care of that prior to submission. All digital platforms require standards that must be met for each song. For example, when mastering your song, the loudness should not exceed -14 LUFS. This will provide consistency with other tracks on the platform. EQ, compression, and limiting are used to polish your track. Keep bass in check. Too much can cause a negative impact to the overall listening experience.
We have a sound engineer on staff that will master your song to meet these specifications if you have not done so.
